System Engineers - Infrastructure - Global Law Firm

Salary: 70000 - 70001 GBP/Annum


We are hiring highly skilled System Engineers to join our well-trusted Clients' dynamic IT Infrastructure team in London.
Our Client, a leading global Law firm, is growing in London and as a System Engineer you will be working with IT Service Management, Operations, and Project Managers in addition to External Technology Consultants, Relevant Software / Hardware Vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support core IT systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Cisco UCS, Azure/AWS, and NetApp storage
- Lead technical projects and mentor junior team members
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional international travel

Requirements:
- Strong experience with Windows Server, VMware, Cisco UCS, and SAN technologies
- Expertise in Azure/AWS, PowerShell scripting, and system automation
- Knowledge of backup solutions, antivirus, and patch management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ideal Candidates:
Technical Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Very strong understanding and experience of Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 Clustering, and Active Directory.
- Experience of VMware virtual server technologies (vSphere ESXi 7.x, and SRM)
- Experience with Cisco UCS (C class and B Class)
- Strong understanding of SAN technologies, NetApp preferred
- Experience using PowerShell to script and automate
- MS System Center Orchestrator (Automation) - desirable
- Experience with Azure and AWS IAAS
- Understanding of backup technologies, CommVault / Cohesity preferred
- Experience anti-virus solutions
- Experience of MS System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Experience of MS System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Experience of patch management tools, Ivanti / Qualsys preferred
- Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery solutions and principles
- Troubleshooting, incident, problem, and change management experience

- Very strong IT technical knowledge, with a good general knowledge of IT products and solutions
