What You'll Do:
As Energy Business Analyst, you'll dive deep into the exciting world of Energy Trading Operations! Here's a glimpse of your key responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into functional solutions, identifying risks and opportunities to enhance Energy Operations processes.
⚙️ Lead the transformation from ETRM Aligne to Endur, mapping existing processes to the new ecosystem.
Design and propose solutions to optimize trading operations, energy flow scheduling, P&L management, and risk analysis.
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end project delivery.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, delivering effective solutions in an Agile environment.
Mentor junior analysts and share your expertise to drive innovation within the team.
What do You Bring as an Ideal Candidate?
5+ years of IT Business Analyst experience, especially in the energy trading domain.
A strong understanding of UK and European Energy Markets, including energy networks, storage, transportation, and pricing.
⚡ Practical knowledge of ETRM Systems (Aligne, Endur) and Energy Operation Systems like MTS, CodeRunner, and EuroRunner.
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data analysis to help drive impactful solutions.
Hands-on experience in Agile project delivery, working across front, middle, and back-office functions within trading environments.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
